Hagon are pretty good i think, accepted what was said previously about the budget shocks with the crappy labels on them.

The Nitro's remotes you can choose fancy anodised coloured fittings, spring rate and length. About £370 uk £ pounds Sterling a pair.

I sent Chris a message about what he has on hand shock wise concerning my specific bike. Thanks or passing on that info! I haven't settled on anything yet but I would definitely like to put nitrogen shocks on partially for the rear end esthetics.

I would say $1000 a pair is top dollar for a pair of shocks without going to Ohlins or some premium brand. There are lots of good options under that. Progressives are a very popular upgrade in the Harley world, especially when you factor in their excellent customer service and outstanding guarantee.

No freaking way I'd dump, and yes I mean DUMP, $900+ on some OEM shocks. The stock shocks Kawasaki choose were price point products. Bet the OEM cost was under $100/pair. For $900 you can get a really nice set of custom Works, YSS, Hagon's, etc.

You buy from the dealer, you better bring some lube.

The z1000P was I think the longest running production kz, but maybe 'new' kawi shocks may have been on the shelf for a few years, I wonder of shocks have a shelf life? As in, do the seals etc deteriorate over the years in storage?

The only downside to the Hagon Nitro's is they are in 10mm increments, I'd go for 365mm on mine, just a touch longer than standard, but would have to go 360 or 370.
