By performance do you mean drag racing or other straight-line type riding? A long swingarm could be good for that or for hill climbing, but it will reduce performance when it comes to twisty roads. Ed

got the brake anchor machined last night.

now just need to get it welded .

kraber,
it depends on what your application is going to be,as ed mentioned.
the swingarm on my black z1r i pictured is 3" over stock which is what i felt i needed to get the gaps above and in front of the wheel where i thought they looked the best.
because i also added structural rigidity and a larger contact patch the extra length has not negatively affected the handling.if i was to go much over a 3" stretch you are getting into pro street /drag race territory.
prices vary on swingarms depending on material and design.

all of my contact info is on billybiltit.blogspot.no/ hit me up and we can work out exactly what you want .

I just want a good looking ride, not into street racing but do like to take a curve and maybe drag a peg on occasion

As of today I can not find a set of rotors to fit the stock wheels, Both front and rear are worn real bad, i could keep using them but they will tear up disks, so I may have to go to new wheels

Replace wheels because the rotors are worn? Why not simply resurface the rotors?

Maybe I am just paranoid, maybe these can be resurfaced, need to find some one that can look at them for me. There are no bike shops in my area, nearest that I know of is two hrs away, I dont mind shipping them out to be looked at
