I have a 75 kawi kz900 converted into a almost 6ft chopper. It was running then, it just wouldnt start. Then no spark. I replaced the coils and went from the dyna back to points. I did notice in the "stator pan thing" there was an exposed wire which i think may have been my problem the entire time... I put aone liquid electrical taoe on thay mofo and still nothing.
My bike has bare basic wiring. Tail lights wont even come on. Im just super fusterated and ant help is appreciated

It is best to identify the problem before replacing parts that could introduce more problems.
Get the battery load tested. Once you are 100% sure the battery is good, then a systematic assessment of the relevant components is in order.
If the engine starts, you can proceed to diagnosing charging system output and regulator - rectifier function.
If it will not start, then you may want to start hunting for a bad ground or connection, or a broken connection.
However you proceed, trying to figure it out with a suspect battery will lead to greater frustration and unnecessary expense.

Basic KZ900 wiring may point you to the problem.....
Lights not coming on then verify fuse holder is not the problem, proper grounding to engine and frame and electrical Key switch....

I did notice in the "stator pan thing" there was an exposed wire which i think may have been my problem the entire time..

This might have caused a charging problem but not your no start problem -assuming the battery was fully charged.

You need to do some basic diagnostics here, is there a fusebox or ignition lock - are you getting power here and to the coils? you can do a test light thing to check the points are switching on and off.

Try to think of it as several different circuits: lighting, ignition, starter, charging etc.
