If returning the original harness to the seller is no longer an option, you might as well try to use as much of it as you can. Even if it only matches your existing harness 50%, that is 50% you won't need to make from scratch.
You can go to Home Depot or to an auto parts store and buy electrical connectors, cut off the plugs on the new harness that don't fit, and make your own connections wire-to-wire. I can't imagine the two harnesses would differ so much that you wouldn't be able to connect things like turn signals, headlight, horn etc. with very little trouble. Good luck!
