As far as I've researched my 76 KZ900 should have running lights, But some electrical genius wired the bike and I have wires that arent the same color hooked together an no colors to match the loose ones it's a mess:S . What I mean is I need a wiring diagram. Can I find one online?

In the green ribbon toward top of page, point to KZ Information, then click on "Filebase". Click on 1976. Then click on applicable model. Should find several wiring diagrams which may be downloaded (usually in living color).

If "running lights" mean that the turn signal lights burn steady whenever the headlight is on. I believe this feature appeared sometime after the 1976 model. For instance, the 1976 KZ900-B1 LTD has turn signal lights that function only as turn signals and do not serve double duty as running lights. Also, the KZ900 has an On-Off switch for the headlight which disappeared on later year bikes which burn the headlight anytime the ignition switch is turned on.
