Now first of all I'd never order something from Thailand but as I'm looking at the pics I notice that the metal ring that holds the guts in to the body is all marked up with what appears to be pliers. The seller lists this as an NOS gauge but I'd have to say he's a liar. Look at the pics and tell me if I'm missing something.

OMG! This thing is horrible! I took my spedo apart years ago with pliers and a screw driver and it looks 100% better than this guys POS! NOS?, maybe "new old sh*t"! The ring has been butchered, there is rust around the spedo face, needle and mine (1980, same one) has a metal body inside, not plastic like this one. Look at the wear on the threads, etc. Insane...

It was obviously taken apart to be zero'd down.

And the sad part is,someone actually bid on it.Too bad it's a private auction.I'd love to contact the bidder and fill him in.
