OK
If anyone out there happens to have your KZ750e-3
(or similar) headlight out of it's bucket at the moment, could you do me a BIG favor and take some pics of the wiring inside, it would help me out alot

the reason i got my bike so cheap was that the previous owner had bee parked up one night and someone came along and cut his harness behind the headlight :(

I have most of it all twisted together but i wanna get a final check before i make it permanent
(also got an issue with my turn signals, they light but don't blink at all)

thanks

As far as the wiring in the headlight just match wire colors. you may be able to find you wiring diagram on KZ Rider. The turn signals not working is the flasher. you will have one for the turn signals and one for the hazards. If the hazards work swap the flaser canisters to see if they work befor buying one. you can get one at any automotive supply place. It dosn't matter what wire goes on what post on the flasher. i sent a diagram for my 1977 kz1000. see if it is the same or close. kaw used the same wire colors for a lot of there bikes.

The manual is available for download HERE , and it should have the wiring diagram in it.

Yes,you can disconnect the "Marker-Light" wire that powers each bulb if you only want the signals to light up.

The front lights have a dual filiament socket, which has 2 power-wires.One is for the marker, and the other is for signal.

OK i went out to it this morning and they ain't blinkin ????

does this mean that my bike is blowin these flaser canisters
for some reason ?
should i just go to autozone and get some of the electronic 'trailer type flasher' units.
I've read on here that they can handle any size load.

I installed some "heavy duty" thermal flashers from autozone this Spring in my kz750 and haven't had any problems.
