I have some website hyperlinks about motorcycle wiring supplies. They are:

www.waytekwire.com (wire,connectors,heatshrink tubing)
www.painlessperformance.com (Custom wire harness,wire)
www.terminalsupplyco.com (Wire,tools,heatshrink tubing)

www.caig.com(deoxit contact cleaner)

The wiring used for motorcycles should meet the SAE spec of J11128 and come in four insulation types:

1.GPT wire. Generally found in hardware stores, Good for up to 80.C

2.SXL wire. Found at wire suppliers. Standard insulation wall. Cross-link makes it abrasion resistant. Good up to 125.C

3.GXL wire. Found at wire suppliers. Thin insulation wall.
Cross-link makes it abrasion resistant. Good up to 125.C

4.TXL wire. Found at wire suppliers. Extra thin insulation wall. Cross-link makes it abrasion resistant. Good up to 125.C

Items 2,3, and 4 can be used in a high temperature environment.

Enjoy!

An expansion of wiring descriptions for motorcycles:

These automotive wires are insulated with chemically cross-linked polyethylene, allowing it to withstand temperatures of up to 257 F (125 C) without melting or fusing. Insulation has a smooth surface finish.

Operates optimally between the extreme temperatures of -49 F to +257 F (-45 C to +125 C) at 12 volts.
It is resistant to moisture, grease, oil, gasoline, and most acids and solvents.
