Hey all,

Looking for an Acewell ACE-2803-AP for my KZ900. I have been on the Electro Sport site but they only offer in matted black. The AP is polished aluminum housing for which I prefer. Other wise going Dakota digital (more $$$ )

Anyhoot, anyone know where else here in the US to find the Acewell product line?

Thanks,

I did a search on Google for the part number you listed and was rather surprised there were no US sites listed.

You could order from a UK site, don't know how much shipping would be though.

"search on Google for the part number you listed and was rather surprised there were no US sites listed."... I came up with the same results... ElectroSport is basically it.

I did find on their site a chromed version for $149 ACE-2853-AC where the only difference other than buffed aluminum is the GAS level feature, other than that they're the same.

You could order from a UK site, don't know how much shipping would be though. Yep, I e-mailed them to see where this leads. If the price is whacked than I'll just go as mentioned above or go with the Dakota digital and suck it up due to costs...

I have seen the Dakota on a bike and it is pretty... Downfall by the time you pay for the speedo/tach combo ($299), sensor ($100, & mounting cup $80) your out $400...

Friggin bike was only $450... :woohoo:

Thanks for the reply,

To my surprise I did hear back from Craig Owens @ This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.... The English are so polite! ;)
Basically $250 plus shipping... Ouch, I can purchase Dakotas for that price.

BTW... Haven't heard crap back from Motor Sports... Gee, go figure!

So, I either go with the Dakotas (ass squinching  ) or I'll give the chromed version for $149 ACE-2853-AC a try.

What to do, what to do.... Honey, can I have some more money please.... :woohoo:
