I just got my speedo and tach back from Z-Resto, and they look awesome! Can't wait to get them back on the bike.

I noticed the rubber pieces around the instrument lights for the speedo and tach are worn out, and It doesn't look like they'll seal properly.

I called Z-1 Enterprises, but the parts are no longer made. I definitely don't want any moisture getting in to my newly-restored gauges.

What should I do?

Makarth Offline User Posts: 229 Thank you received: 1	use some dielectric grease it will repel water and help seal the little cracks. you can also try saving the grommets with some silicone oil. if nothing else buy a chunk of rubber and carve it until it fits. good luck. 1977 kz1000 - Megasquirt project @ 40% wiring, plenum, and exhaust<--(done!)
