I'm currently in the process of putting my bike back together and I'm working on the wiring. So far I've come across two issues where I'm a bit lost. I marked (or thought I did) all the wires during the tear down but there seems to be a couple that were not marked.

Firstly, the two black wires coming from the switch located in the clutch lever (is this the starter lockout switch?), I have one connected but I'm not sure where the other one goes. I'm assuming this connects to the black wire coming form the starter button on the right hand control? Seeing how you need the clutch in before the bike will start with the electric start, is this correct?

Secondly, the two wires going to the front brake pressure sensor located on the splitter, does it matter which wire goes on each pole or are they interchangeable?

I don't have any pics on hand but if they would help please let me know.

Thanks

Yes, the starter lock out switch connects to the black wire going to the starter switch and the other connects to the black wire going to the starter relay.

AFAIK, the wire going to the front brake sensor are interchanable, but I am not certain.

There is a wiring diagram in the filebase for your bike.

On my C model, one of the clutch lockout wire's plugs is male and the other female. They connect to the main harness under the gas tank in the same area.

Thanks guys. I had the wiring diagram but it never really told if the brake light switch had to connected a certain way.

Thanks again this is a great help.
