I need help my Manual shows regulator but and a rectifier seperate. but i bought electrice and i think i have a rectifer/regulator harness of 1979 . help trying to wire my bike and a little confusing.

The 78 was the first year of the 750 twin with the combo unit.

If you have the "Kawasaki Service Manual", then it was printed after '78 there should be updates and addendums in the back for the '78 and '79.

If you are using a 79 harness on a 78 (US models, others are different), then the on/off light switch won't work without a simple wiring mod, everything else will work.
If you have the separate reg and rec, then it gets a little more involved.
