Hey everyone Im new to this forum so bear with me here. I have a 1980 kz650 ltd I just jetted it put k and n pod filters on it dyna ignition, dual front brakes, new brake shoes wheels painted, drag bars, 4 to 1 exhaust, new mirrors and the whole bit. Now to make it look pretty cool I thought I'd add a gague from a kz900 i believe or 1000. It says the top speed on the gauge is 140 mph. My speedo cable broke and i ordered one from ebay here is the link I looked up the specs on the cables and they all look the same will this work?

That cable will work just fine. If you are looking at a gauge that reads 140 it would be from an earlier 650, the gauges from the 900/1000's would read 160. Either one will work as will a speedo from a KZ750 twin.

I have a 650 and a z1. Love them both. If they were kids I probably spoil the Z1 a little more.
