Does anyone know of a good supplier of battery cables for my 650? I checked Bike Bandit and they want $38+frt for just the positive cable, which to me, is rediculous.

#6 copper cable and a couple of eyelet terminals are a whole lot cheaper, and it takes mere minutes to make.

Should cost no more than $10 at any auto parts store for the parts.

Good point..the main cable seems OK. I need to repair the ignition end as it had melted at the connection at one point and was never repaired by the P/O. It still works, but every so often, it shorts out when I turn the key.

Any lawn mower parts supplier should have any length cable you need already made up for less than $20
