Help!!!

I have a KZ750 Twin...Engine VIN Number KZ750BE 060095.

Can anybody I.D. the year and model number?

Can anybody tell me where I can find a wiring diagram.

This model has a combined Rectifier/Regulator and a "Transistor Igniter"..."Shindengen" SH347

If no one gets you the info this afternoon, I'll check some data at home and get back to you tonight. You have a 750 B model (but you already knew that  )

Have you tried www.zedder.com? They have some VIN info on some Kaw models.

Nope that's not a "B" model, it's an "M". A 1982 KZ750M1 to be exact, the 82 was the only year with leading axle front forks and a chain drive, there was no 81 model and the 83 was a belt. By the way, that bike is also the first 750 that had electronic ignition :D

First 82 I have seen with mag wheels though, I wonder if they are off a KZ1000K LTD model.

Here is one I had with a Vetter Deluxe Touring package (which I later removed and installed on a KZ1000M1 CSR for my brother).

So far, that's what I've deduced thanks to "Vedder"

I take it as an 82 KZ750M1 - CSR Twin

Now, if I can just get my hands on a wiring diagram.

Truth is I am building it back up as a "Metric Bobber" and am interested in rewiring to absolute, legal basics on the wiring (Brakes, horn, dimmer, starter motor, headlight) but, the service manual I have is for an earlier model and doesn't account for the rectifier/regulator and the transistor Ignitor for this model.

Thanks again for your help

Thank you for that heads-up on "Vedder"

As a matter of fact I think I have it pegged as an 82 KX750M1 CSR.

Now, if I can get my hands on a wiring diagram I may be able to move forward.

Thanmk you again for your help

Likely Yamaha Wheels as the front is Yamaha welded to the KZ.

Excellent job and no worries on tracking and safety.

I just bought a bike with the engine vin number KZ750BE060095. It looks a lot like this bike but its been painted all black..could this possibly be the same bike? The title is registered as a yamaha XJ7, But the motor and and a couple other parts are kawasaki... total bobber bike, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yep...same bike motor as first posted over 5 years ago. Does it resemble any of the pictures (particularly the black one)? Depending upon where you live, titles are generally issued based on the frame VIN, rather than the motor VIN. As far as your location is concerned, you are riding a Yamaha. :)

 The bike is almost identical same rear rim same rear fender and tail light, theres a couple differences, the front rim is spoked.. which i actually like the one in the older picture on here but oh well its got brand new rubber. Pretty crazy I have been trying to learn anything I can about the bike, being that i'm not to familiar with the KZ's or old school yamahas.. I picked the bike up for $400 about a week ago.. not runing. I did some tinking and found the wire to the coil was disconnected. So I reconnected it and hook up a gas tank off an ATV I've got, as the gas tank had a hole in it and will need to be replaced. Turned on the gas and jump started it and it fired right up.. freaking awesome, never heard any of the kz twins, sounds amazing! Needs a little work i'll post a pic in the next couple days for you all to see. what a coincidence to find the exact same bike on here!!
