I don't know much about the differences in years and models. Are there newer electronic tachs that would fit on my 77 and run off my Dyna III?

The problem with using an electronic tach on these older bikes is that all of the plugs fire every revolution.
Either I actually saw it or maybe I dreamed it up, but,
Lou our resident electical genius made a circuit using a flip flop circuit that cancelled every other pulse so any automotive tach would work.
Like I said, I may of dreamt this one up, old age you know.
Besides it's 2:45 in the morning and I just got done freaking snow plowing,


Oh, by the way, did you know that "dreamt" is the only word in the English language the ends with "mt". I saw that on here somewhere too.

i used an 82 spectre dash and wiring on a 77 motor it has an electric tach
