Diagrams have been known to be wrong, but this is sort of a BIG error...Here's what I see on the diagram:

The FSM for '73Z1-'76KZ900 contains four diagrams. The 1st diagram is Z1 US model with green wire from right-side points to right-side coil feeding inner plugs 2/3 and black wire from left-side points to left-side coil feeding outside plugs 1/4 (correct). The 2nd FSM diagram for Z1 European model is the same.
The FSM then errs in the 3rd diagram (shown above) for KZ900 (US and Canada model) which erroneously has the wire colors reversed from the points to the coils. The same color combination is shown for the KZ900 European model in the FSM's 4th and final diagram (which is likely also incorrect).
The FSM Supplement for '76KZ900LTD also erroneously reverses the wire colors from the points to the coils on both the USA and Canada model diagrams.
This is consistent with the info as posted by wg.
P.S. The FSM for '77-79 KZ1000 also looks wrong, at least for '77 and '78 (before pickups and igniter) and I'm guessing the FSM's '79 diagram for European models showing green wire from igniter to left-side coil and black wire to right-side coil might also be wrong.
