Have a 76 kz900 w/1015cc wiseco, andrews stage2 cams,
& accel ingnition. Needs plug wires & catalog offers 2 8.8mm @ $45. Can purchase 4 8mm at auto parts store for the same price. Any reason I should not save the money & go with the 8mm plug wires?

They sell an "off road" or "racing only" kit at the autoparts store. It will have TWO long wires with four plug boots on the ends. You cut the wires somewhere in the middle and install rubber coil covers first, then install the metal contact pieces that fit into your coils. I think you cut back insulation and bend the conductor over the outside of the insulation, stick the metal coil connector on the end so that it makes contact with the conductor and then crimp it, if memory serves. I don't like to use the Accel wires unless I use their coils as they are hard to fit into regular 7mm holes in a Dyna coil.
