What about sleeving your existing wires with something like this: cableorganizer.com/mylar/

This product is metal-coated mylar, but it has an operating temp max of 257F, and a melt temp of 446F. Would that be high enough for Spark Plug Wires? They also have steel braiding, but the smallest diameter I saw was 1/2"--too big for plug wires. But it might be a good solution for dressing up brake lines. :)

I dont think I would want steel braid on the plug wires, to much chance for grounding since the spark is going to take the least path of resistance
