Anyone convert their points and condensors to Electronic Ignition? What manufacturer is better? How hard is it to complete the fit?

To begin with, what model bike is it... but, you will probably find it unanimous to convert to a Dyna system.

Nope, not unanimous, I use KZ440 or 82-83 KZ750 twin factory electronic ignition on my 750 twins, and others here use later model stock electronic ignition on their early model 650/900/1000 fours.

Whole lot cheaper and uses less amps than a Dyna.

OK. I have a 78 KZ650 B2. You are saying that I can use a newer stock electronic ignition on the older bike. what model would you suggest I look for?

80 or new KZ750 four should be a direct bolt on, and someone else here has a 1000 electronic ignition on a 650.

Early 80's 550 ignitions using mechanical advancers are a direct bolt-in for the 650, also.
