I have a 1976 kz900 w/a 1977 1000cc engine. Which Dyna coils do I need? The green ones? The bike has points still.

Two output? Are they the same as the 3.0 ohm green Dyna coils?

All dyna green coils are 3 Ohm. They make some that have ONE out and another that has TWO out. Since you have two plug wires per coil, the two out coil seems to be the right one.

Would also consider installing a new set of Dyna solid wire core spark plug wires (they come with spark plug caps already fitted).


IMO, another good upgrade would be replacing the points ignition with a Dyna-S electronic ignition (also available from Z1E).
