My kz650 is in need of a new solenoid. I happened to find one off an 81 750h. I believe that most kz650 parts were standardized from '77 to '80 or '81, but I have no idea about interchanging parts between 650s and 750s. I did check parts diagrams on kawasaki.com and they look different with different P/Ns. Does anyone know if this one will/could work?
Thanks,
~Marty

Even though they have diff part numbers, it could be as simple as the physical dimensions of them are slightly diff but functionally they are identical.

I'm picking up a '78 KZ650-D1A that I won on eBay a few days ago. And if it's as pooched as the pics lead me to believe, I just might be parting it out.
I'll send you a PM later today when I get back with it and let you know. ;)
