I'm having the same issue with an 1982. It is leaking at the fuel intake. I've taken it apart and replaced the orings there, but it still leaks at that point. Not sure what else to do to stop that leak.

You have 2 orings each side of the fuel Tee. If my memory doesn´t fail, the plastic Tee is glued to the 2 aluminum tubes that go inside the carbs. You may want to check where does fuel leak... from the aluminum tubes and carb body. or from the plastic tee and aluminum tubes.

When replacing fuel tee orings It is a good practice to wrap them in teflon. WiredGeorge does it, enough for me.

I would look for a replacement tee. Z1Enterprises.com or eebbaayy. KZ750 fuel tee or fuel fitting or connector. or maybe a brass or copper tee from the hardware store. ??? The metal nipples probably can be separated from the carburetor bodies --- pull them out & do some measuring. HF digital caliper.

Listed as being for Mikuni BS carburetors.

Thank you so much for responding with those suggestions. This was my first post and I didn't realize how helpful this forum would be. I will take your suggestions to see if I can locate if the leak is coming from the orings specifically or the black plastic section, before proceeding. Chris I appreciate the offer of a new tee. If I need one, I'll absolutely get back to you. Thanks.

If the O-rings are new, why wrap them? Seems like an invitation for leaks.

In that position there is no room for the fuel line. If it does fit, it will be binding causing a leak. If new O rings are installed, I'd put a thin coat of grease on them to help them slide in without cutting and it helps the seal.

I would simply remove the "T", clean it up with NOTHING abrasive, and replace the o-rings (part #92055-1004). I believe you will find they are still available from Kawasaki. Ed

The Tee appears to be melted.

If that's the case, or if the plastic is cracked, here's the guy with a GREAT solution! Maybe he can be convinced to make a second one. Ed
