I'm working on restoring a KZ 400 and can't figure out what year it is. I think it's either a '75 or '76. Anyone know any sites where I can check the frame number? Thanks

...Do you have the title for this project?

...If you have a title, the year will be on the title.

...Otherwise, check out Ed's link.

Title are known to be wrong. One kinda common error is in using the date of manufacture as the model year which isn't necessarily correct.

CycleChaos.com is another place to check. It has the engine number & frame number info for many Kawasakis.

...Really? Never seen it happen on any of the dozens of titles I've had my name on over the years. Never had any manufacturer dates on them, either. Only a clearly listed and correct model year.
