Output shaft oil seal leaking

I just installed my replacement Dyna-S ignition (outstanding product and company!), fired the bike up, and took off for a quick ride. When I got back I noticed a pretty good oil leak. I traced it back to the output shaft oil seal. Des anyone have any suggestions on how to remove and replace the oil seal? I don't want to keep adding oil. It's starting to coat the rear tire. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What model & year of bike? On most seal replacements, the engine or countershaft sprocket needs to be removed to access the area, then the transmission or ("mission) cover comes off to be able to replace the seal. Use a light grease to prevent tearing the seal when installing it. Also to avoid tearing the seal on the engine output shaft, wrap the shaft with several layers of tape.

It's a 1978 KZ650-B2. DO I need any special tools to remove the old seal?

I believe the seal mounts on the transmission cover(could be wrong) I use a large socket to remove seals that have gone bad, usually a sharp rap with a hammer on the socket will knock it free.
