I never met or even knew of the guy before his accident last weekend but I knew of his work.
Anthony "Tony" Cutrano was the co-founder of the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run and one of the founders of a memorial wall dedicated to military personnel killed in the Middle East conflicts . Over the last 10 years I have watched the slabs go up and the memorial evolve but due to the fact that I wasn't riding I never was a part of the Freedom Run. Anthony R. Cutrano, 52, died Sunday afternoon on route 6 a place known as Holderman Hill not far from the memorial , his legacy lives on. RIP Brother www.wbez.org/blog/achy-obejas/2011-03-23...illes-illinois-84146 |

I never knew about that memorial. I was shocked at the number of men & women who've died in service since the Vietnam war also
