I'd be interested - just got my '83 KZ1100LTD finished up and ready to roll - just depends on route and time of year - I'm in John Day - eastern Oregon, between Ontario Oregon to the east, and Redmond to the west. Even just riding along as part of a group would be fun if the route comes this way!

Hey Gary, I'm in Dayton, WA about 150 miles east of you. My son and daughter in law live in the Dalles. I'm planning a road trip this spring to see them, and thought about taking 395 to John Day, and then cutting through the fossil beds down to them. Always figured that would be a great ride!

Maybe we can sort out our relay legs to meet up? I'd love to check out your bike B)

Take care,

Great to see all the new riders! Be sure to put yourself on the map: g.co/maps/zvnpn

Include your KZR ID and put a marker near where you live.

If you need help, PM me with your details and I'll add you to the map.

HI Bill - give me a call when you get out this way - I'm retired, and spend lots of summer season RVing and/or fishing - but would love to meet up with you - or ANY KZ members passing thru - I'm in the phone book, Gary Davidson in Canyon City, right next to John Day to the south on Hwy 396.

From the looks of the map, this part of the country is rather sparsely populated by KZ members - will have to wait and see if anything/anyone passes near us...

Hey all,

MONTANA IS ON THE MAP!

I am located in Missoula, MT. I just met another member near Missoula and shared the relay link. Otherwise I know of one other member towards the eastern portion of the state.

Could do from the MT/ID border to the continental divide near Butte, MT...

Is there a general timeline for this? I mean, should I be prepared to ride anytime from April to October? Or is there a scheduled month for each region?

Hey Freemole,

Glad to see someone on the map around our neck of the woods. Not sure yet which way the Rocky Mountain leg will run, but I'm up to meeting at the Mont/Wyoming Border (I'm in Northern Colorado). Hoping to see if I can talk some of the other CO riders to head up as a group.

I think we're probably looking at the Sept/October timeframe.
