These Drouins create a lot of heat so the more finning the better.
I would have removed as little as possible but tried to shape them on similar lines to the original zeds finning.
Strangely the before pic with your new bodywork fitted looks quite good. Think i need to take a tablet

Ok. Thanks for the feedback. Ill leave it as is for now. Perhaps once they are painted again they will de-focus some if the aggressive attention they attract.

I have also solved the color scheme. I think the bimota would have been cool but I have more of artistic approach to the paint which I think will be very original. In my countless exposure to other cafe bikes I have never seen this theme which I think will end up being a big hit. It involves paint and vinyl with hopefully a red leather seat.

These scheme will also be applied to other parts of the bike, including the exhaust.  B)

I made 'some' progress last weeked. Made a plate for mounting the fpr. I didn't like where it was before. Also I noticed a couple weird objects I didnt pay much attention to earlier. One item is a nos thing the other is some non descriptive box attached to it. See pics.

Anyone that has an idea of what they are feel free to speak up. He silver box I'm am guessing is the controller for the injector. The nos item might be so fuel can only go one way? I'm guessing at both.

Looks like they are a voltage regulator and a low pressure (6 psi or less) adjustable fuel pressure regulator, I forget the brand name..... looks like you are using a zenith or bendix carburetor . these carbs usually use less than 3 psi fuel pressure.......

Ya my bad for not being clear. My description earlier wasn't good. I wasn't referring to the fpr. I knew what that was and the regulator. Woops. :pinch:

I was referring to these in this attached pic. The Nos part was attached to the FPR where you see the non connected ntp fitting, then to the carb. The gas tank feeds that weird aluminium box. Nos item has two wires running to it (neither were hooked up both looked like grounds) and the aluminium box had two wires hooked up, looks like power and ground.

It's good you said this. It's set at 2.5 and I was thinking that must be another measurement cause in race cars I was used to 40+ psi on the fpr's.(time to take back the fp gauge that was 0-100)..lol . So with your info it must be specifically a 1-5 PSI fpr. I was hoping to move it to 3 because on the carb the adjustable MJ is running out of room when I'm trying to richen it up to where the needle almost comes out. Now that kind of doesn't make sense to me because I am at 4000ft so I should be leaning it out more. That or that adjustable jet is too lean to begin with. Did they make different MJ sizes for those carbs?

I'm learning all this old shit..lol. Thanks!

P.S. It is a zenith 51mm carb. I just measured. Also the wierd aluminum box has the work "facet" engraved on it if that is any clue.
