Including information about bike year and model is helpful to viewers and usually elicits better responses.
It's easy to put this and other information in your signature where it shows in all posted messages, past and future.
And may be changed whenever and as often as desired.
If wanting a signature showing information about the bike in posted messages, it's easy to do. Here's how:

I had to make a spacer also. I cut the center out of the gear with a carbide hole saw. Use a lot of cutting oil and a slow speed. I used a mill. Then I used a lathe with a boring bar to open it up to the size I needed. I then welded it to the spacer. I used the center of the gear that I cut out and welded it onto the spacer. The gear is hardens but slow speeds and cutting oil. Will d

i am going to see if my plasma cutter will do the job and then chuck it up(made a stub adapter) and then machine it on the lathe. then the same for the other sprocket (outer teeth part) but i still have to figure out if the lathe or mill will do the best job...joe

Anybody using a mac book to post pics?
Is the procedure different from that shown in my earlier post (applicable for "windows")?

looking good mate!

Old skool muscle bikes look so good when you do them up tastefully!

are you keeping the clip-ons or putting MX bars on?

Mike, this build is looking really good! Just wondering if you could post some pictures of how you got that rear shock mounted/supported in the frame?
My build is starting soon, so I'll get a link up soon :)

Right now the shock mount is just tacked into place. I am going to finish welding it soon and ad supports. As soon as I do that I will take some good pics of it for you.

Here is the one pic I have.
