I must say that I am very disappointed in the final outcome.
It seems that the chrome pipe is outshining all your hard work of polishing. I think u should send it to me and I will send u my old black Kerker. This will go better with your black frame, and allow all of those beautifully polished aluminum pieces to shine to there fullest. The way u meant them too.
I would really hate to part with my 30 year old pipe, since we have been through so much together.
But I would do this for u bro.
:P

Other than this mornings mishap here on the forum and for our AZ Cardinals just barely losing (HECK of a game)...

I started her up for the first time in 24 years!
and no OIL leaks, way cool! lol!

I still have to adjust the timing (strobe light), adjust the carbs w/possible jetting required and all the other pertinent things such as re-torquing, breaking the engine in etc...

As depicted in the image, cooling fan on the engine and home made gas tank... Almost looks like a Plummen fabrication... :P ROFL! Oops, my bad.

NOTE: I did use one bad word directed at only myself as this was based off a statement made to me when I didn't follow directions correctly!

I love that bike. Can't wait to see it. I'm in Phoenix, we will have to do a run out to Bartlett lake and stop by one of the Harley bars in Cave Creek on the way back.:P

I read a post I think by Patton way back using high temperature spray paint on the inside of the headers to prevent blueing. You may want to look into it with that sweet Kerker that you have. I was at the DMV after I got my new Vance & Hines in the middle of summer and watched my pipes turn blue in the 115 degree heat. Haaaa.

one of the Harley bars in Cave Creek

Oh yeah, Care Free, Satisfied Frog!

I used Kreme Blue Shield... It's a thick liquid pour on the inside of the header pipes.... Basically cap in, swish around, pour it back out and hang dry over night... Repeat the process for a second coating (internal only).

I still have to get this old girl registered and such plus all the fine tuning yet but give me another month or two (need tires as well) and we'll definitely go raise some Heck.....

Heck..... Just doesn't have the same gutsy ring to it does it!

Really the Cards loss can be blamed on the last "fumble" by Warner, and the total melt down that let Pitt score on that last drive. I was rooting for the cards, but as fate would have it. Heres my take on the refs in this game.
