I bought my 1981 GPz550 at Cycle Sports Waipahu in 1992 or 1993. According to Google Earth the building is now empty but I guess it changed into a carpet store somewhere along the way.

And it's a shame that Hawai'i Raceway Park is no longer there. My friends and I still have the videos we shot in the early 1990s of some of our cars doing the quarter. I ran the GPz as well but my buddy had some technical difficulties with the camera and didn't capture it.

Yup. No place to race right now. I used to race there back in 80's. Definitely need a race track as all the young kids racing on freeway because we don't have racetrack. Who blame's them? I once was young too.

I have too much projects on hand ( I have 86' Monte Carlo SS that going into body shop soon, 89 ZX-7 trying to restore, and my boy's 82' KZ750, and hoping to revive 84' GPz).
