They came with a lot of turbo parts i bought . A popular mod for the turbo is to install 1100 throttle bodies on them . Pm me your address and Ill send one out to you .If it works you can buy me a case of beer or something . Rather see it on a running bike then on the shelf in my garage .

riturbo, all i can say is thanks. it did the trick. still needs some adjustment that couldn't be done the way it was running.
sure is nice to be able to gently roll on the throttle without having to grip the tank with my knees.
i donated to the site.
thanks again.

scirocco and riturbo: thanks a lot for you help. bike now running well.
after changing the tps, engine ran smooth, but i noticed it wasn't charging (plus, my trickle charger was not trickling, causing the bat to spit fluid), and the tach still jumped. i ordered a chinese regulator/ rectifier and used the 3 week shipping time to take a break and recondition the battery.
i changed it today and now it charges AND the tach no longer jumps. (p.s. the voltmeter on the dash is a nice decoration, but not much else)
thanks to everybody that helped.
