What are you guys using for a inline fuel filter. My 79 KZ1000st doesnt have alot of room like most KZ I would think.

www.z1enterprises.com sells good ones, and most lawn mower shop have a selection. Just don't use a filter desined for a car as they are restrictive and need pressure to work.

If necessary to gain space for installation of the in-line filter, the fuel line may be lengthened and re-routed as desired, using lazy loops that aren't kinked.

I actually don't use one. My stock petcock has a cap that unscrews off the bottom and a cleanable metal screen inside. I've never had any problems running it this way in 5000+ miles.
