Hello Glenn, there was no KZ1000LTD model in 1983, but larrycavan is correct...all the big bore Kawasaki's from that era had BS34's

thanks for the info...
someone told me that the biggest carbs i could get on my 80 kz1000 ltd were the carbs off an 83...
as you pointed out, and in retrospect, he never did say 83 ltd...
nonetheless, i once again thank you for the info and now the search is on for adapter boots i hear i'll need to fit the 83 on to the 80...

In 1983 the LTD was a shaft drive 1100.
