Why not just use a set of RS34's. Better signal for bottom end responce, and only 4 to $500 used .
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

The reason I do not want to use RS34s is two fold. One is that I have not seen any go as cheap as 500, 2) because I want to stay with CVs RSs use quite a bit more gas on the street, and only give you an "Off-the-line" advantage. Quite often you will actually loose top end with them by a few MPH.

I guess i just got lucky. I paid $450 for mine. New 1's are $680 at Sudco.
Anyways you've done a lot of work with those . I hope u are able to make them work.It will be very gratifiing for u , for sure.Good luck.B)

Bump...Did you ever make those BS36's work? I ask because I have a pristine set off of a Suzuki RF900. It looks like the #2 and #3 carbs are centered well, and the #1 and #4 carbs are 3mm or so too wide on each side. So, I'm curious if you were able to solve the spacing issue. Sorry to drag up such an OLD post :laugh:

I gave up for the time being because the cutting and rewelding of the control arms is a pain.
