Just acquired the bike. It came with pod filters, and after reading all the issues that can arise from pod filters, I really want to locate all the stock airbox parts as the bike came from the factory. I'm missing everything!

My usual MO is to search eBay with the factory part number. Sometimes you get lucky but usually you have to be patient. 

A drill down on partzilla.com shows thst airbox was used on the 83, 84 and 85 gpz and zx 750s so that might help widen your search parameters. There are a few incomplete ones and 1 which looks mostly complete ($$$) on ebay at the moment. Search gpz750 airbox.

Thanks for the tips! How important is it to try and get an airbox with the internal parts. Most airboxes I'm seeing on Ebay are only the outer housing.  Also are the metal side panels just for aesthetics?

From your attachment you need the airbox cap #11012 for sure.
I'm thinking / guessing that items 13091A and 13091B are inner and outer frames for a reusable foam air filter 11013. If so then you could probably use a 1piece air filter like in my 1980 750E1.
Item #13091 the holder is usually incorporated into the bottom of the airbox - check photos - but if not this part is used in good number of models. Again Partzilla- kawasaki-year-model etc.
Think the piece below the holder is just a thick rubber washer.
Think #92071A may be an inlet for the Kawa Clean Air system which we didn't have in Canada and as many people in the US removed this and plugged the hole it may not be relevant 
Cant place the "metal side panels" you mention. Perhaps these are bling for the shoulders of the airbox and have no other function ?


 

A stock airbox is a beautiful thing.  Clean your carbs properly, make sure all the jets are the stock size, and you can be assured that the carburetor tuning will be PERFECT.  

JR, Thanks for giving me a rundown on the parts diagram pieces I was unsure about! Very helpful. I believe those metal side covers came with the earlier non gpz bikes that have different bodywork and are just for aesthetics. On those bikes the full sides of the airbox are visible whereas on the gpz's they somewhat tuck under the panel. There's even a third version I believe that don't use the metal side panels, but have molded in "stripes" that protrude. Ebay sellers don't necessarily know what they have mis identify what bikes they are meant for.

Ok, I've become sort of a quick "expert" on the airboxes. The one that fits the bike is KHI A 034 . It mounts by a centrally located bolt facing towards the rear of the bike. Others have metal tabs that locate box on each side. Those are labeled as KHI A 019 and I believe found prior to '83.
