I spoke with seller when it was first listed, he thinks it worth $8-$10k the way it sits and $20-$25K when restored. I had to pass on that purchase

There are a couple in much better shape on FB Marketplace asking 10k that haven’t sold. I’d love to know my project would command 20k-25k but that’s a Z1 price range. The Kz900’s A4, A5, and B1 are not there yet. Maybe someday.

I consider my Z1Bs to be restored.  I ride them every day so they're not showroom perfect.  I would love for someone to pay me $25 thousand each.  Heck....even $20 thousand.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I paid $2k for this one last fall. one owner super low miles sat for 30 years. New chain sprockets tires spokes and repop pipes. I'd prolly sell it for $10K
