I have a 1981 kz1000 with a J motor. I need new cylinder's. Will the cylinders from a 1986 kz1000 fit and work on this ?

Yes that 86 cylinder is from a police bike. The engine number starts KZT00JE just like my engine number. What do you think ?

The jugs should fit, same part number and all, pistons are the same part number too. I'm pretty sure they'd work with the J motor. You seem unsure daveo!
