Do I see a vintage Monotrack fuel tank in yellow on top of your cabinets??

Had one on my old H2 cafe bike back in the 70's!!!!

Nice piece from back in the days of the cafe racer craze!!!

Yes it is. I bought that on ebay for about $25 back in 2008. It needs a lot of repairing, but would be a perfect shroud for a steel fuel cell.

25 bucks What a deal!!!

Here is my H2 750 back in '73 with a Monotrack tank. When it was full of fuel, it felt like I had a huge bowl of Jello between my legs!!! Not much of a confidence builder. I knew if I crashed, it would explode like a gasoline filled water balloon!!!!!

I had Morris mags on my bike like a month after I saw them on the factory Team Kawasaki H2r's.

Monotrack tank on my H2.

I have never been on Mt. Evans, looks busy, was it the weekend?

Hi bluej58. Not busy. Crowded up top for the cars but no problem for two wheels. Last weekend of the season. I probably got out of there in time before the mid day/ evening jam.

Very nice pictures guys. Good job.
On the mount evans question, I've been up there probably 40 times over the years, dating back to when the store was still operating that burned down in 1979. It's always a great ride up there.
Can be and usually is brutally cold and windy, so be prepared for 40 degree temps at best up there with 30 or 40mph wind.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Agreed, good stuff. I always wondered who's been up there 40x or more. TFTT. Who was the fastest? Did they get a knee down?

I had my bike to the top of Pikes Peak and camped on the mountain the night before the Pikes Peak hill climb in 85
It was real cold that night and we heard the race finished in the snow the next day, that was in July, but it was a blast!

The winner, no question she was the fastest driver/car that day, blew everyone any!
