I am also thinking about going petcock-less (Sounds dirty doesn't it?) and running and running a fuel solenoid under the seat that can be activated by the security system which will also then cut fuel when the bike shuts off.

Your link to eBay would show, might be an expired listing. The fuel solenoid is cool but around here most motorcycles are packed up on a trailer/truck. I would like to see if I can install a GPS tracker hidden in the tail section or something.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThe petcock really isn't for security, but just to clean up that part of the tank system and make it nice to not remember to turn the fuel off and on.

Try this....

That's pretty cool Cory. Do you know of anyone that has used one? Unfortunately this device as well as mine only prevents joy riding. My understanding is most of these bikes are stolen for parts.

No not particular,, but it appears that Scorpio is the motorcycle alarm company to use. I found out LONG ago, that locks only keep honest people honest. If someone really wants your stuff,, they WILL get it. So I just try and make it as difficult as I can. You can also get the GPS tracking, but that will cost more. Oh well, I will ride and keep my bike in view, but I am not going to worry about it.....

Here is the concept drawing for mounting my Trail Tech Dashboard to the new triple tree. Its no wonder the bike isn't done I keep adding stuff i did't know I would need.

This is what I am mounting to it.

I removed the guts to the OEM pressure sensor drilled it out to 5/16" and tapped it for 1/8" BSPP. Here is the finished modification, looks like its stock to me. B) The sensor I am using connects to my existing Trail Tech Vapor.
I do not recommend this mod without installing a pressure gauge. I am using the port above the points cover to connect an oil pressure gauge. Knowing you have oil pressure is much more important that know oil temp.
Here is the link Oil Temp Sensor

The Trail Tech Vapor, I have been using for 2 years. It works good for what costs. The RPM feed back can be a bit tempermental. It has an induction wire but it did work well wrapped around the spark plug wire. I have mine connected to the + side of the coil. I need to insulate it some how so it doesn't pic up signal from the other coil and it may be more consistent.

Completed my dashboard bracket tonight still needs a bit of clean-up and powder coat or polish.
