Camaroguy, my girl has a friend at the county clerks office she says they can run an out of state polish check So you might ask them at your courthouse to do that she also said to go to the circuit court judges office they have a form you fill out and the judge can give you legal ownership then its just a matter og applying for a title hope that helps

@gengomerpyle: The instructions made it fairly easy. I was switching from stock electronic ignition to Dyna-S, so I'm not sure how much more might be involved switching from points. It shouldn't be bad either way though.

i want to switch from stock electronics someday down the road.
did you have to do any rewiring?

I dont have a real work=shop or an abbundance of tools so i laid it accross a 2X4 tokk a screw driver stuck ith through the center wacked it a few times til it stared to move and then found a deewell scocket just smaller than the shock whacked it til it was out then wd 40'd the new one withworked it in with a flat screwdriver until it the edges were in and drove it the rest of the way with my socket

sorry i thought you meant the bushings wow too many things going today lol. Mine already had on older dyna in it pretty easy set up the follow the instruction and your riding in an hour i marked everything i could before i removed the old one i dont Know that much about engines timing etc... and have never had a timing light on it but it starts before you get off the button and pulls strong all the way through I am old school in the fact if it feels right dont mess with it i am not trying to shave .001 off my ET's

OK I am at about 850.00 in primer and the chrome headlight I got from oink well... lets just say it has no dings pitting or peeling and its complete. 30 year old chrome I am gonna have to paint it. My girl met me at pivco i got 150.00 to spend brfore I reach my cap. I am still thinking that tricoat was [erfect but it's crazy to spend 700.00 on paint that I will mess up 150.00 is making me nervous I find a gallon of keyslime green pearl midcoat style paint 85.00 plus activator 25.00. now we are talking but I need a base coat So I come up with this great idea I will use silver and Gold candy base with my graphic under the paint Be an awsome effect. this is the beginning of where it all starts to turn. they have a quart of silver no gold ok the Graphic goes on top no biggy 50.00 bucks only over buget by 10.00 bucks get it all to the counter and she says arent you supposed to clear over the graphic?? Since for a month I been running ideas past her and she has become an instant expert on painting well she is right this is spiraling out of control I already know. I go to grab the cheap stuff (I am already over budget) then she says ok you have spent 2 weeks getting that thing ready to paint and who knows how long putting artwork on only to ruin it with the cheap stuff? I explained its all cheap stuff we are at pivco Automotive color wanted 700.00 for a quart anyway she says we are buying the good clear 100.00 by the time we buy strainers thinner and supplies i am 150.00 over but it's not May yet gives me a time to paint put all the new stuff on and make it by June

silver was on by midnight and not painting anythin in 20 years I was real happy so far

Thanks it gets better or worse or I really don't know I got a a couple frinds who decided they liked it and have a new part time job painting bikes in my yard barn lol

ive done some of my best work in a dirt floored overstuffed barn over the years!

It's funny like I have mentioned my exwife and her husband are in the bodyshop business and of course since I didnt take them up on their offer to paint it for me I had to text her some pic"s since they have 6 shops and seperate paint and baking boothes her first question was who painted her second was where. then said bull you did not paint that in a dirty old yard barn life is good some days

water down the floor and start spraying,hell back in the good ol days some of the best paint jobs i ever saw were sprayed in driveways with about 30 coats of laquer!
