No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationyes a new slip-on would be nice. some of the bikes slip-ons are just way too big.
a track mate just got 1 for his cbr. it was from a china ebay site. i cant recall the name.it is something like Delpovic ??

Yeah it'd be cool to get one I think. If I spend all this money on a mount I'm gonna have to get a direct fit ZR7 muffler. How usual is it for these slip ons to be interchangeable? Like if it has 3 bolts and the right diameter hole it might fit?

You might look at these: www.dan-moto.com/exhausts-wholesale-18.h...kgq090stp8jru0kuab30

They are cheap, and according to the members at zx-10r.net they ship fast and are decent quality.

The problem with those is they're slip ons while mine is a bolt on. I guess I can cut off the flange and slip something on, since the availability for bolt on ZR7 mufflers is down to D&D and Jardine (~$300). Theres one company called Viper who makes cheap-ish ones (~$200) but they're unbaffled, and I don't want the bike to be that loud.

That ZR7 exhaust is stainless right? If so, you could have someone weld on two little hoops for the spring attachments and use an appropriately sized slip-on from a late model bike. That would open up your choices infinitely.

Yup its stainless. Thats a decent idea. I wonder how many bikes have the same size pipe as mine. It seems fairly large.

Post the diameter of the pipe and I can at least compare it to my zx-10r for you.

K, I'll get it next time I'm out that way. She's in a friends garage 30km away. Being able to get zx10r mufflers would be sweet!

Forgot to mention, I sized up how I'm gonna fit a set of CBR600 rearsets that I have. Looks like they'll be easy to mount in the same way that rstnick did his, so thats another project to do over the winter. Gonna be really funny having a rearset attached to a drum brake.

So, another snag today. I wanted a machine shop to slot my cam sprockets for me, but they quoted $200. Thats more than I can afford right now, plus I think its ridiculous that they're quoting two hours work to put a couple sprockets on a rotary table and slot them. I'm not a machinist and I know it would take me less than an hour to do the same job. So, alternatives?

Considering APE sells cam sprockets for $60 a pair I think $200 to slot a set is a little out to lunch. I need my own equipment!!!!!

Another thought; you may be able to work the slot with a Dremel tool. Ed
