This is i800phyco's 1978 KZ 400 B1. It has a CB900C headlight on it, hours of polishing, and custom painted emblems. He also lowered the gauges about 1" and installed a 73 s2 round tailight. This is The Gringo's 1980 KZ 1000 G1. A bone stock Z1 Classic with original working fuel injection (!), #2977 out of 3201 produced. An unmolested original survivor. You can see a better picture and some member comments in the gallery.

This is avmedco's 1983 KZ 750 L3. The sales brochure back in the days read: "No other 750 offers the acceleration, handling, light weight and simplicity of the new Kawasaki KZ750". The owner bought this one new in '83 and obviously he still loves it. This is Grantl's 1981 KZ 1000 M1. Stock CSR except for a new Pingel petcock and a re-covered seat. This winter, the owner plans to take off the exhaust pipes and fenders and have them re-chromed. You can see a better picture and some member comments in the gallery.

This is Todd 55's 1978 KZ 400 B1. The owner refers to it as his "little twisty eater", and judging by its looks, that couldn't be more true. Featuring a reshaped seat with ZRX1100 cover, MAC 2-1 exhaust, superbike bars, carbon look screen, and probably many other mods I'm unable to identify. You can see a better picture and some member comments in the gallery.

This is streetfighterkz's 1978 KZ 1000 A2. Features a Gsxr11 swingarm and Zx-6D rim, as well as a KZ 1000 C (Police) front end with a Zx-11C rim. This is Jeff.Saunders's 1973 Z1 900. It has been heavily modified: Features an Old ATP turbo kit w/RayJay turbocharger, box swingarm, ELR shocks, Guilari seat, deep sump oil pan, Dyna 2000 ignition, 42mm Mikuni flatslide carb, and aluminum rims. This is oldcoldankles's 1983 KZ 550 M1. This bike had been in storage for 8 years until it was rescued by the original owner from an advancing forest fire in 2003. Except for a K&N drop in air filter, windshield, and inline fuel filter, it's all original right down to the vacuum petcock, keys, grips, toolkit and Luminous Midnight Red paint! This is ambergrismooon's 1976 KZ 900 B1. 'Gris' Big Red is an LTD. And we all know the LTDs are the best Kaw had to offer. Ever. This LTD is "mildly built" with a 1047 Weisco Kit, new guides, clean carbs and the original airbox. She has new stainless brake lines coated in red to match the custom fire engine red paint. She sports a pair of sexy twisted railroad spike highway pegs. And yellow hand painted Kwaka emblems. 'Gris did the pinstripping. It's gold vinyl anchored by a gold heart on one side of the tank and a shooting star on the other. "She has new Bridgestones, progressive front suspension, new bearings back and front, new steering head bearings..." says 'Gris. Not bad considering he started with "Pits, rust, oxidation, pools of dried paint, drips, chips, runs and rot…" For the full story read Big Red's Re-birth in the articles section! This is mariozappa's 1977 KZ 650 C1. After having a wiring problem in the turn signals on the Vetter fairing, the owner decided to strip off the fairing, mount, highway bars and all that extra crap, and reinstall the factory headlight and turn signals. This is TechAddict5610 's 1983 KZ 1100 A3. After he got it he polished up the engine covers, changed oil and gas, added a new battery, and she ran sweet. Considering what a new bike of this size costs today, the owner is happy to put a few hundred into her... It's got less than 5,000 miles on it.
