The bike has been sitting god knows how many years. I removed the cables and housing (those actually weren't stuck) but the tube itself is just stuck like glue. The grips peeled off after reefing on it so hard. Now its just the metal tube on the handlebars. Any ideas? Thanks!

soak it with penetrating oil or WD40 for a while. Then use propane torch to heat tube and expand it slightly (it will smoke a lot). Big pliers or pipe wrench to work it loose while hot. make sure no plastic is heated

I've had it soaking all day but I don't have a torch, so I'll try to get one. Thanks for the advice!
