If mine breaks again I'll buy a new one at z1partsinc.

Nice! I was wondering if those controls would work!! The plastic piece under the run/off switch is broke in 3 different places..... It's either a new unit or buy a used one and rob the part.....

Mine was too. I put it together with the glue and coated the back with JB getting under the wires. 40 year old part. I'll buy new next time. I bought the R/H side but am keeping the stock one. Worth $$. Period correct.

I think they will. Here's another place. You will have to figure out the wiring but at least you'll have a headlight switch if you don't have one.
Check Z1E too.

I'm at a stand still now, my new controls should be here Tuesday. I may be off on what the actual problem is with my bike, but I know 9v at the coils is not good, so once it's fixed I can then move forward if it does not solve my problem..... Thanks everyone for the help, I will keep you posted

Does anyone have a wire diagram for a kz900. I'm trying to figure out where to connect these wires on this new control switch
