They should draw attention. My HID headlight does too. I can tell by the way people stop and look at me. Every little bit helps.

It's not like I can't move them around either. They will actually flash if i want them to but I'm not entirely sure if that is legal.

Yeah,I've seen them they're US DOT approved and they are still illegal on anything civilian except motorcycles. However, I don't know if there is a difference between flashing/blinking and pulsing. The pulsing function must be automatically light sensor controlled to only do it in daylight as well. The lights I have are like the three function LED flashlights do an on/off sequence to get the different functions 1- bright 2- dim 3- flash/blink.

If they had the potential of saving my life, I'd take a ticket if they were illegal.

It might go past a ticket to criminal "impersonating" charges.

I think it would be wise to separate the extra lights from the turn signals as much as you can. Motolight are made here in the Cincinnati area and I've seen them mounted on the lower fork legs with very good results. Take a look at. motolights.com

Proximity to the blinkers does concern me. I was thinking maybe getting a light/mirror combo but I haven't found any that are bar end. The other alternatives are the barend blinkers but I haven't seen any I like, are visible enough and/or are compatible with barend mirrors. With the bars where they are now and my size the stems would have to be 24"+ for mirrors to show me anything but my chest and shoulders in regular mounts. I found one set of mirror/lights I might be able to modify and build mounts for that might work.

Those pics on that site are interesting but I think they might be just a little low. I have considered mounting them at the fender bolts though.

The front of the bar end mirrors is the logical place to mount the turn signals. I've never seen any setup that way that I like. I wonder if CRG is looking at this?

That's what I've been thinking. Maybe I could put a set of these on the back of the mirrors or on the stems.

I've been doing a ton of looking around and thinking (I know, weird). The winning configuration will be that I'll keep my existing signals where they are but replace them with dual element units. It didn't even occur to me that they were only single element. I'm going to put the driving lights just below the headlight as I originally wanted. THEN I'm going to mount a secondary set of dual filament signals on the stocks of my mirrors.

I've ordered these, and I should end up with something like the mock up.

If drivers don't see me after this they're some blind SOBs!

Be careful tightening the nut on the stem, it'll break off all the threads up to the base. Was gonna use the same lights then found a rounded rectangular lense set I wanted finally, funny thing is that it uses the same stem..lol which I've already broke on one as well. Oh and the negative is fragile if you start tugging at the wires too much.
