So just about all there with the wiring.

The horn is throwing me for a loop though.

I got the battery charging right now so i'll try testing again in a few hours, but I figured i'd punt this over to you guys and see if you could help point me in the right direction in the meantime.

So as it goes right now the horn is extremely weak. It also, when pressed, turns on the right turn signal indicator on the instrument panel.

When i connect a ground wire from the handlebars to the ground circuit, the horn is much louder, but now when the right turn singals are activated, all lights on the bike blink. This does not happen with the left signals are on. Without this ground connected both turns work correctly, but the horn doesnt.

The horn button has been swapped in fora NOS part. The handlebars themselves are new and do provide a ground. The internals of the hand controls have been cleaned out and no corrosion is present.

thanks for looking

The horn button provides the ground to the horn.

You must have something crossed.

Look in your MANUAL at the wiring diagrams.

just as i thought. ground issue.

my handlebar ground wire was rubbing against the frame neck, moved it away and it fixed the issue.

but again, thanks for the help.
