I just bought a battery for the gpz750. It comes with a wire that is supposed to be inserted into on of the battery cells on one end and the other end has an electrical connector. It is supposed to be a battery sensor to feed info to the LCD display on the dash. Where the the electrical end connect to? Is it necessary? Help.

Should be a green wire on the throttle side under the side cover. Its necessary if you dont want the light to blink. You can also just connect the wire to the pos side of the battery if you dont have the sensor for the bat . Thats how mine is set up so the light wont blink
