The noise in my bike was identified in a previous thread. I have damaged magnets in my alternator rotor, looks like someone attempted to glue them back in place, one shook loose.

I'm looking for advise on pulling the rotor. I have the nut loose. Clymer's says the large bolt to match the outer diameter thread will work, Does anyone know the thread diameter and pitch or shall I try a standard puller?

Also, I've read here that rotors are hard to find. There is one on ebay right now,, but I don't know if it is the same. See item no. 201335096680 or any advise on a source is appreciated.

The 201335096680 rotor would fit, but the starter clutch mount disk on the back may be larger diameter than the one on yours, so your starter clutch (or the correct one for the bike) probably won't fit...verify that information with the seller.
See ebay item 200986746824...rotor removal bolt. Place a 3/8"(?) steel ball (bearing) in the bolt hole first, so the pressure exerts against the center of the crank vs. the whole end surface.

Hopefully this helps, but verify everything...before doing anything!

This is the third time I tried to post this.

I use a rear axle to pull them.

I use the rear axle bolt like Rob said with a small ball bearing as previously stated. No extra tools needed
