Howdy! new to the forum so here we go. Alright, im pretty bad with electrical and dont have the proper tools to diagnose so im having troubles.
78 kz 400, bought from a guy that let this thing sit outside for years. Bought brand new battery, new plugs, points and condenser were bad so replaced those (point gap is set). still nothing at the plugs or at the points. and I set the timing the best I could and im pretty sure the timing is just a hair off but I dont think that would matter a whole lot. Coil replacement maybe? Please help
Thank you

Oh and the ignition switch plug, one of the corners on the plug looks a little burnt up, melted kind of.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYou're wasting your time trying to troubleshoot electrical issues without at least a cheap multimeter. You can get one from eBay delivered for less than $5, so why fight the problem?

Here's 1 example - I'm not selling or endorsing it, but it serves as an example if you can't currently afford a high quality unit. Ed
